The Highclere Series Ebony Staunton Chess Pieces are a highly detailed and superbly finished set of small chessmen. This carving design is classic Staunton, with a beautifully crafted knight and bishop. Supplied by the same chess workshop that produces some of the world's finest chessmen, the Highclere's have a 7.62 cm king and broad bases, will sit perfectly on this beautifully unique wooden chess board.

The chessboard is high gloss lacquered dark walnut and elm made by Italian artisans. The finish offers a level of opulence and, practically, affords protection and strength to the board surface. The chessmen reflect beautifully when set up and glide so effortlessly.

This stunning set is also available with a chess piece storage case if you prefer.
