The Atlantic Series rosewood chessmen are individually made from single blocks of solid rosewood and boxwood, giving them a durable construction that is sure to last for generations.

Within this Regency Chess favourite, there are some really remarkable chess pieces, including a hatted bishop and a staunch, columned rook.

The knights have small, neat ears and a toothy smile; their character shines through in abundance thanks to a solid carving that is done by hand by our partner craftsmen. These superb chess pieces have been finished with a fine hand polish, a time-consuming process that results in a lacquer-free natural shine to the beautiful rosewood that they are carved from.

These chessmen will sit perfectly on a chessboard with a square size of 5.1cm or greater. Our 50cm chessboards will complement this set perfectly.
