The Atlantic series chess pieces in beautiful rosewood are one of our biggest sellers of all time. The rich, dark red tones of solid rosewood are brought to life by the natural hand polishing and finishing. They are based on the classic Staunton design with a slight departure, evident in the convex crown of the king and the stylised mitre of the bishop.

Our stunning high-gloss lacquered grey ash burl board absorbs the rich reds in the reflection of the pieces, and the detailed patterning of the grain on both chessmen and chessboard complements each other. A really special chess set combination that fuses the dichotomy of traditional and contemporary.
