This is a luxurious, exotic hardwood with a very seductive deep grain and is extremely strong and hard wearing. This makes it perfect for keeping your chess pieces safe for many years. The sliding lid has a clever magnetic fixing that keeps the lid tightly closed. The inside of the case is lined with plush deep burgundy fabric which provides great protection for your precious chessmen.
