Despite their miniature size, nothing is lost in the way of detail or quality in the crafting of the Coronation luxury ebony chessmen.

Individually and painstakingly carved from solid quality ebony and boxwood, these pieces are a diminutive Staunton set of chessmen making a monumentally bold statement. The detailing of the finial on the 2.36-inch king and the facial expressions on the knights are as detailed as any of the larger sets of pieces available. As you would expect from a luxury set of chessmen, this set enjoys two additional queens for promotion.

For both aesthetically pleasing and practical purposes, these weighted and felted luxury chess pieces have their own special presentation box. With a plush burgundy felt-covered foam insert, each piece has its own compartment to keep it fully protected whilst not in play.
