The Chess men boast a king at 9.4cm tall and all the pieces have been beautifully carved, finished and weighted for perfect balance in the hand. The Olive pieces show case their beautiful grain in their carvings whilst the ebonised boxwood pieces make a significant contrast. All bases are covered in a black felt to protect your board whilst in play.
As you would expect from the world famous Rechapados Ferrer, the board itself is truly a work of art. Crafted from high quality wood veneers of black tulipie and olive wood, it is also been finished to a very high standard.
