This substantial chess set features beautifully crafted Staunton style wooden chess pieces with a clean and elegant Maple and Mahogany chess board. The chess pieces are heavily weighted and are tournament height at 10.16 cm. Each piece is hand turned and each knight hand carved from graded boxwood. they are wonderful value and very detailed for their price.
The European inlaid chess board is around 48.26 cm in width and is made from real wooden veneers of red Mahogany and light Maple. The wood used for the board is sourced from sustainable woods in Europe. Included is a fabric carry bag for the chessmen. Please note that bag colour may vary from photographs.
