At 7.62 cm in king height, these chessmen are compact without compromising on elegance. The attention to detail is staggering and the finish is flawless. The pieces are well placed on this solid walnut and maple chess board, measuring 45.72 cm across with a square size of almost 5.08 cm. The jet black chess pieces work well with the rich reds and yellows of the Walnut grain. Included is a Rootwood chess piece storage box with quadrant hinges and 2 additional Queens for pawn promotion.
